The idea was simple. Give the Google Form link to people. Advertise it a bit. Get ideas. Suffer a little less.
That was my first mistake.
Upon giving the survey to several people, I was glad to find that I collected about 140 responses within one/two days. Exciting!
And then I read the responses.
Here's some highlights;

This poll didn't help at all, but I guess I'll paint my dog. Thanks, guys.
yooooo i'm honored that a bunch of my suggestions ended up on there ;)
ReplyDeleteI'm glad the survey yielded at least one suggestion you're taking seriously! I'm really excited for your final product, knowing what a Good Art Man you are. Gary has given you advice on selling paintings, so you should just have a small business in the gifted room.
So far I've seen your really cute Tiny canvases, and I love them so much! What other sizes are you planning on using? Literally paint a 100 meter by 100 meter painting of your dog. Finn deserves that much.
Get ready for a full mural in Philly of my dog. I'll see what I can do about the business thing ;^) wink wink. I'm glad the survey wasn't just a a big pile of jokes, too. The canvas I have now is about 12x14 inches? I don't have the exact measurement, but it's something like that. Thanks for appreciating my blog, bby.
DeleteOkay boy I was the feeling of melancholy
ReplyDeleteamanda then said the feeling o f melon collie
I thought I would tell you have that joke
Aside from that it looks good!
I think that it's funny how you had to block out most of them...
Oh yeah, trying to screenshot the 'good' answers while trying to avoid the bad ones was a pain. I didn't want to take 4,000 separate screenshots, but I didn't want to cross them out and make it blatantly obvious that sin was happening on my good survey. I had to compromise by only showing a somewhat acceptable handful of answers. Grr. Thanks for following the blog progress. Blogress?
